This assignment has taken me down a deep rabbit hole, pushing me to find a relevant resource tied to the core of the program that I could scale. The biggest challenge was collaborating with linguistic experts (SME) to visualize and refine a scalable card system for teaching Dhivehi Phonological sounds.
 

Once the core idea was solid, the focus shifted to incorporating text-based data graphically for maximum inclusivity and learner adaptability. I applied the CRAP principles: Contrast (using striking blue for Dhivehi letters and red for diacritics, alongside varied font sizes for clear hierarchy); Repetition (maintaining consistent color schemes and mouth diagram styles); Alignment (ensuring all text is right-aligned and all plus/equals signs are vertically aligned for a clean structure); and Proximity (grouping related sound elements tightly, such as letters with their corresponding mouth diagrams).

This process also highlighted the need to update my Digital Media Checklist. It's becoming a robust tool, and while I plan to streamline its design further later, I realize its fundamental value as a must-have for any instructional designer.
